- Day, Clarence; Thoughts Without Words 1928. Each page with an illustration and then a pithy poem.
- Liebermann, Max; Bilder ohne Worte (translated: Pictures Without Words) undated c. 1922; a long essay followed by Dutch related images with titles but no story arc.
- Magill, Mary Tucker; Pantomimes; Or, Wordless Poems 1882. 8vo, pp. 80. Instructions and music notations, plus many drawings of the proper poses to express emotions in the poems.
- Märchen ohne Worte (translated: Fairy Tales without Words) books published in at least 1907, 1909, and 1911. They are illustrated by various artists showing one or two illustrations from famous children’s stories
- Olson, Elder; A Novel in Pictures contained in Poetry, A Magazine of Verse, July 1933, Vol. XLII, No. IV; pages 181-240. Apparently this is a written poem, 9 pages long, with no explanation as to the title.
